- Librarians and librarians have always been restless people. We characterize ourselves as early adopters of an innumerable amount of information and communication technologies, such as: software for management and cataloging, social networks, cloud services or wikis —you just have to see the involvement of the collective with Viquipèdia— and various databases, among many other tools. The collective has always shown a predisposition to become the vanguard in the use, promotion and dissemination of all technology that could be incorporated into #libraries and at the same time useful for users. We have always been, and continue to be, a restless, curious, eager, eager, and fully trained professional group to become leaders. As a collective we know this, and luckily, there are more and more people outside of our work and professional environment who also know it and who take us into account.
