  • The purpose of the present work is to validate a didactic proposal that is part of the concept of "journalism-based learning"for students of the Librarianship career of the University of Playa Ancha, Chile, within the framework of the Managementof Information Units I. To respond to the proposed objective, a questionnaire with mixed characteristics –quantitative andqualitative– was applied, which was answered by 14 academics who valued the relevance of the proposal and suggested a set ofadjustments for its application. Among the conclusions are: the contributions that "journalism for learning" implies in the way offacing university teaching didactics, since it becomes a potential tool that will help students to become responsible for their ownlearning, being potentially replicable in other formative contexts.
