- Actually, the electronic journalism converges to the integration of new medias and e-contents on the web. The future of these systems resides in the quality of their contents and in the ability of get a pertinent and effective diffusion of these data. In this last stage, plays an important role the figure of the Documentalist, as the professional put in charge of the contents management, similary to the tasks developed in another areas of the Knowledege Management. The electronic newspapers include, gradually, documentary products together with the traditional informative products and the added value services. This paper exposes the main documentary products included in these portals, emphasizing their degree of relevance into the global context of the portal, raising the value of the management of these contents into the strategical planning .
