- This research seeks to know the status of implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty to facilitate access to published works for people who are blind, visually impaired or have other difficulties in accessing printed text and its impact on libraries in Latin America. The current situation of the Marrakesh Treaty in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean will be analyzed, determining the cases in which it has been implemented, and in which its implementation is pending, establishing for this a graphic visualization map. The problems that persist in the countries in which the implementation of the MT is still pending are identified. Tensions of rights in the Latin American intellectual property system are identified, with special emphasis on the Argentine national context. This tour allows us to suggest a series of proposals and consensus solutions for the effective implementation of the TM in Argentina and Latin America and the Caribbean.
