- Exploratory-descriptive research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, in order to identify which and in what way Academic Work Standardization services are being offered in Brazilian university libraries. Among the results, the greatest participation of libraries from private institutions stands out, with greater participation of Higher Education Institutions in the Southeast, South and North regions. Most institutions offer, to a greater or lesser degree, some standardization-oriented service and use social networks as a means of dissemination to communicate the service's offer. Most of the survey respondents reported that they offer services related to document normalization, however the search for this category of service is incredibly low, occurring occasionally or rarely. Some institutions create their own produced manuals and guides, but there is not always fidelity and similarity regarding the information contained in the standardization criteria of the main national and international standardization bodies.
