- All services are important in a specialized library, but that of virtual reference becomes an essential component in an era traversed by the COVID 19 pandemic. Based on a sample of inquiries with particular characteristics that arrived at the CDI by email during 2020-2021 the so-called "orphan consultations" have been detected, defining and classifying them in order to study them and ask various questions about them, detailing the social and resilient actions of the CDI in search of collaboration with citizens during a time of deep crisis .
