  • With the desire to improve and promote intercultural relations and mutual understanding, States invest in rich strategies related to cultural diplomacy. In the last few years, the use of social networks has perfected the cultural exchange between people by connecting them with each other. In this line, several Spanish organizations and institutions stand out such as the Cervantes Institute, the Foreign Educational Action Unit, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, Turespaña, the ICEX, Spain Global, Spanish Cultural Action, the Red de Casas, La Carolina Foundation, the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education, as well as the autonomous communities and local entities. To this end, the communication channels generated by social networks support the exchange of information and culture, increase feedback from different voices and opinions, and even the gaps between audiences can decrease by instantly reporting events and activities.
