Daftar Isi:
- Bibliographic standards – MARC and in particular UNIMARC – have aimed at a greater and greater harmonization with the descriptive standard, an immediate and nearly completed process regarding materials of more consolidated catalographic tradition, printed monographic publications, with the exception of the series area, but more delicate for other types of materials, for example serials and – above all – electronic resources. The adjustment of UNIMARC to ISBD(ER) is almost complete, with the exception of some sides, perhaps thin at first sight, but about which it’s important to reflect because in some cases the format is interesting also in order to fully understand some aspects of the descriptive standard.
