- There was a time not too long ago when one person could own another. The slave was completely dependent on its owner and how it could well be sold, rented, mortgaged ... At present our image of that situation does not conform to what it really was, since we have known it through movies, the Internet or social networks. With this history workshop we continue the work begun with the women’s history workshop and we try to show with a participatory pedagogy what life was like for these people. Through documents from the funds of the Provincial Historical Archive of Córdoba and with the collaboration of the students, we present real events and try to dismantle some of the most widespread myths. It is about bringing a rigorous history closer to young people in an entertaining and participatory way, in short of turning the archive into a history classroom.
