- [Summary from the Introduction] There are uncertain or insufficient resources allocated to editing scientific journals in open access without fees. An unaccounted resource that maintains the leading Brazilian journals in Information Science in open access and free of charge is the publishers' health stock. This research prospects scenarios of the functioning of these journals under different loads of article submission and their effects on the delivery of articles and on the editors' stress. The approach is the modeling and simulation of scenarios in systems dynamics.
