  • A critical analysis was proposed of the different experiences of indigenous libraries in Argentina, forming a state of the art of what happens with library care in communities that have descendants of indigenous populations. The Indigenous Library concept was examined from an interdisciplinary approach, linking the incidence of bilingual indigenous radio stations, oral collections and the valuation of memory in the strengthening of cultural identity. Finally, a series of reflections was proposed in relation to the paradigms present in Indigenous Librarianship, the cases that have represented cultural resistance from the appropriation of written culture, and the libraries that have discontinued their services.
