- The paper is an attempt to perform an analysis of academic libraries in Poland, based on statistical data (CSO) and performance indicators (AFBN). To illustrate trends in selected areas, the data was presented over the years. Selected indicators were compared with average values in 13 European countries. The presented material can be used to initiate discussions on the condition of Polish academic libraries, as well as support librarians in advocacy activities and shaping relations with the environment, especially at their own universities.
