- The paper presents research on the impact and value of academic libraries - their origin and place in the library assessment model. The areas and methods of research were presented, mainly based on recommendations from the international standard in this field, and examples of initiatives in foreign libraries. The plans for research development within the AFBN were also discussed, in the direction of accessing the impact and value of libraries.
