Daftar Isi:
- The work Black Women in Library Science contributes to a growing movement of black researchers to demarcate and strengthen their space in Library Science and Information Science, as well as consolidating the importance of the anti-racist struggle and respect for ethnic-racial and cultural diversity . This movement, legitimate, comes to break the barriers of the invisibility not admitted, the unsaid, the unseen and the unreflected. It demonstrates that Librarianship still mirrors the structural racism3 that is inveterate in Brazilian society and that one of the ways, among the different forms of political, social, cultural and educational organizations used to transmute this situation, is to act and propose social changes such as those that bring oblivion and call minds and bodies that were silent to the leading role.
