Daftar Isi:
- Last October, I published an article on La Marfanta digital about the names of public libraries in Terres de l'Ebre. The conclusion was devastating: of the 34 public libraries in the Ebro, only two are named after women. That is, a meager 5.89%. The names of women, in the Ebro, are represented almost marginally in the main cultural and citizen facilities that we have today. So driven by curiosity, and with the aim (sometimes hidden, sometimes explicit and full of illusion) of wanting to show if this situation is the same in different territories of Catalonia, this article was born, which seeks to decipher , with data, how women are represented in the public library nomenclature of Barcelona.
