- The use of Information Technologies and Communications in our healthcare organizations has been very visible in the last decade. This has been particularly notorious in the treatment of clinical histories of the Spanish National Health Service (NHS) to implement electronic patient record solutions (HCDSNS) within the different health services, but unfortunately they are different both regarding functionality and technologies. The mobility of citizens makes it essential that the different solutions interoperate to transmit patient information. Currently technologies have ripen enough for doing so, and there are already tools to work on semantic development.
