- Collections’ description is fundamental for the finding, the access, the management and the their utilization by the user. Collection Level Description, RSLP Collection Description, Dublin Core Collection, NISO Collection Description, ZVdD, IMLS Digital Collection and Content represent all metadata schemes and standard for the collections’ description. Also the European projects MINERVA and MICHAEL have the centre in the collections, in their description and in the relation among them.
