- This report includes the current status of open educational resources in the Spanish universities and proposes guidelines for their institutional impulse. This study is part of the action 6 of the repository group of REBIUN, as a result of the objectives worked during 2018. On the one hand, the evidence obtained from a specific survey on open educational resources is shown; understood as learning materials created by teachers for the development of their teaching activity. This survey, distributed in the Spanish institutions of REBIUN at the beginning of the year, pays special attention to the nature of educational resources, contextual aspects and influence and, above all, the platforms that facilitate access to them (repositories and OCW). On the other hand, a series of guidelines for the promotion of open educational resources in universities is proposed. For the elaboration of these recommendations, some results of the survey have been taken into account, as well as the consultation of specialized bibliography (guidelines, guidelines, policies, etc.) and the examples identified in other international institutions.
