  • The publication of my latest book From the symbolic temple to dematerialization: a journey through the library architecture from the 20th to the 21st century, in which I review the architectural transformations of the buildings of the libraries (and their social, cultural and philosophical) in the last 100 years, is the perfect excuse - surely beloved - for, based on a proposal from the editors of Hänsel * and Gretel *, to reflect even briefly on the location of library architecture in the city of Barcelona. A brevity that at all wants to underestimate the level of exhaustiveness and rigor of the argument that I believe I have kept in the book.
