- This text deals with the audiovisual in all its aspects: as an artistic product, as a source of information and as an object of research. The reader will be able to find content such as audiovisual production on local television, the processing of audiovisual information (standards, roles and instruments), consumption, metadata and audiovisual analysis, technical documentary processes, conservation of sources with moving images. It also presents a methodology for the analysis of content in audiovisual materials called VISUAL METRIC. Likewise, analyzes of dissimilar contexts are carried out in which the audiovisual is produced as part of the activity of local televisions, with emphasis on Centro Norte Televisión de Caibarién, Cuba.
