  • Media Education: An International Unstoppable Phenomenon. UN, Europe and Spain support for Edu-communication. Despite the scarce presence in the school curricula of most of the countries of the world, media education is becoming more necessary and essential every day. In a world in which communication is -as Vallet already said decades ago- the air we breathe, there is no sense in the scarce formation that is offered to new generations to know and understand, in short, to educate themselves and to be literate in these new languages. As it can be evidenced in already a consecrated scientific corpus of studies and investigations, a systematized learning of its codes, languages, discourses, and therefore, active and playful teaching processes, which necessarily have to be assumed by the educational administrations of the states, is required.
