  • Throughout history, different media have occupied and play an important role in the production and circulation of different social meanings, including how people live their different sexual orientations represented in different media: press, cinema, radio , television and cyberspace. There are not many jobs carried out in Latin America, but Brazil has the largest production on the subject. The need and justification of this work, in the first instance has been reflected in the work of Díaz-Jatuf (2017a), leading to an approach to the subject of memory and journals establishing the "... imperative need to constitute a new historiographic field within of the cultural, social and political history of the GLTTIBQ magazines, and to form cultural and political networks, so that they help to preserve and promote the magazines of the mentioned collective. "
