- The objective was to increase the professionalization of university professors in the diffusion of their scientific results. A case study was developed in the Contramaestre Municipal University Center, Universidad de Oriente, Cuba, in which a postgraduate course specialized in the management of publications in social sciences journals indexed in internationally prestigious databases was conducted. The type of research was explanatory with a mixed approach based on participatory action research. It is concluded that a professionalization of university professors in said management increases the international diffusion of their scientific production.
