- This paper presents a bibliographical review and of national and international standarsabout the technological risk management. The technological development has brought asconsequence the substantial increase of the risks, principally in connection withinformation access's problems, in face of the possibility of loss or distortion of the sameone. This contribution aims to the specific area of libraries, centers of information ordocumentation. There were located and analyzed policies applied in libraries of the nationalarea. By last, some considerations about technological risk management in relation with library's ambit are delineated.
