- The speech presents plans for the development of the Polish Medical Bibliography for the years 2017–2018. All publications included in the periodical appearing in PBL will be added to the database and the number of indexed journals will also be increased in the database, while the descriptor language development will be narrowed down only to the articles of Polish authors. Other documents will only be entered with keywords. Changes will also include the expansion and refinement of the search engine with new capabilities such as search history, keyword search, multiple content indicators, or multiple qualifiers. In addition, a full search engine will be launched to the prePBL database, which provides records immediately after entering, even before the final revision. Implementing the above aims requires a complete modernization of the production database.
