  • The research presented here has the challenge of analyzing social media or social media with more implementation (IAB, 2017) and, therefore, with more possibilities of impact in an emergency situation (Giansante, 2015). The research focuses on the case study of two emergency situations that had a great impact in Spain. The first case is the Germanwings flight accident, which would cover the Barcelona-Düsseldorf route, produced on March 24, 2015. The plane, with 150 people on board, crashed in the French Alps. There were no survivors. The French and German authorities and also the company itself admitted that the accident was caused intentionally by the flight co-pilot.
