- The bibliometrics methods, or precisely called bibliometrics, is a field of the areas of Librarianship and Information Science that applies statistical and mathematical methods to analyze and construct indicators on the dynamics and evolution of the scientific and technological information of certain disciplines. As is well known, many areas use these bibliometric methods to prove the effectiveness of their research statistically, and this has become more and more frequent.
