Daftar Isi:
  • Journalism in databases is a journalistic practice and, at the same time, a dimension with a strong identity of its own, of data journalism. It is based on the knowledge and exploitation of news and current information available in specialized information sources. Database journalism mainly uses documentary information systems, such as databases (henceforth its name) and digital newsletters. Its core is the search, discovery and analysis of journalistic information retrospectively to better understand, complement or enrich a story or a current event. We present here a protocol of analysis of the quality of search interfaces in journalistic databases. It consists of the identification and characterization of a group of indicators for the evaluation analysis of the quality of representation and retrieval of journalistic information.
