- Design and development of the Grupo Godó’s document database. The article describes the process by which the corporate database of the mass media group, Grupo Godó, was designed and created. First the author reviews the prior situation that gave rise to the need for the project. Thereafter the characteristics of the database are described in detail: structure, contents, documentary analysis, information flow, and search interfaces. The article concludes by evaluating the functionality of the new database up to the present and outlining future initiatives that are expected to improve both the system’s functionality and implementation.
