- A historiographical study of the main sources where the relevance is acquiring the National University of San Marcos in the training of Library in Peru , divided from the point of view of the authors, in three periods realizes evidence They are considered important milestones in this historiographical study, corresponding to the twentieth century, such as: a) Period 1923-1942, which was marked by the birth of the bibliographic bulletin “Zulen , Basadre and Schwab”; b ) Period 1943-1979 where the National School of Librarians (ENB ) was born, and there is evidence of foreign missions and participation of San Marcos and finally, c ) 1980- 2000, where the transfer takes place National School Library (ENB ) to San Marcos, period characterized by subversion and academic consolidation.
