- The thesis deals with the establishment of progress tendencies of communicative models of higher educational institution libraries’ activity under the influence of informatization. Conditions of forming of new models in libraries’ communicative activity are characterized. The peculiarities of such models consist in possibility of unification of linear and unlinear presenting of information. It is investigated in the process of evolution the linear (documentary and communication level) communication model of higher educational institution libraries’ activity changes to interactive (information and communication level), and further – to integral (cognitive and communicative level). It is proved that the use of unlinear communication models increases the possibility of qualitative changes in the continuous changes of the parameters of the higher educational institution libraries’ activity and information space of education and science. The state is considered and periods of university libraries informatization in Ukraine are specified. The reasonable application of the communication model of a particular library activity in different periods of their informatization is proved.
