  • Cultural factors have huge impact in R&D&I, therefore is important understand the social perception of Science. The surveys are a commonly tool for evaluate the social perception of Science, but they can be complement by other sources. In this paper we describe a investigatory project that studies the perception of Science through Newspapers, text books and Wikipedia. For the content analysis we use a theoretical framework based on the scientific culture concept. A basic objective is to prove the validity of science culture model to organize a great variety of information contents and formats. The amount of scientific information contained in this three media requires the use of automated procedures of information location and storage. So another objective of our project is to create a documentary database of scientific culture in Spanish. The third objective is classify the information according to a series of indicators.
