- This article deals with the development of an acquisition policy for the Austrian Army Museum’s library. First of all the used nomenclature is reviewed. The article both shows the historical background of the library as well as the library collec-tion and steps of development, from the initial position to the finished concept. At last the main issues of the acquisition policy are shown.
