- A gap is detected in the use of webometrics applied to industry in general, and to the design and reporting of electronic market in particular. For that reason, the Trademetrics project aims to develop and validate a webometrics analysis model oriented to sectoral analysis of the Spanish online market for its internationalization, focusing on the presence, use and web impact of companies, products and brands, and proposing to identify factors that influence the webcast of products, brands and companies by sector and that determines the market. In order to calculate the degree of internationalization of the Spanish industrial sectors are identified: - What to measure: catalog of webometrics indicators for measuring dimensions and specific categories of the studied sector. - Where to measure: critical selection of industry sources specifically in the countries under study (in this case, Spain and the country whose market wants to study, eg, United States). - How to measure: by direct method (hit count estimates) or API source. The methodology is validated analyzing references to indicators of Spanish products, brands, people and companies in the web sources of the country to be studied. For this, predictive models (linears and parametrics) are used to determine the possibility to predict future trends with some precision.
