- Biblioclastia is an institutional CAICYT project, our first step is to propose a broad concept definition and simultaneously precise new limits to describe the phenomenon of Biblioclastia., which is understood not only as the destruction of the books but also the damage of supports of knowledge and also the violation of rights of free access to knowledge of the institutions and collective agents or individuals’ entrusted to protect and assure them. The proposed definition will be exposed by the elaboration of a controlled vocabulary with useful terminology for studies on Biblioclastia.
