  • Didactics, as descriptive and normative of teaching knowledge, represents a specific knowledge that characterizes and defines the teaching profession. It was established as a coordinating and integrating knowledge, both theoretical and practical point of view, the set of proposals of education and its application in the design of teaching practice. Almost all disciplines have their special learning; Librarianship, recording and studying the flow of information, as well as social channels that contain it, is not without it. This work intends to present in a narrative from the perspective of the Social Library, the urgent need for the foundation of a specialized teacher training and qualifications in Library and Information Science in the School of the same name teaching at the University of Buenos Aires (hereinafter UBA); in order to assist in the improvement of teaching and learning discipline and in the correct formation of their teachers; so that they can transform their discipline and learning conceptions according to the application of relevant methodological guidelines to the area.
