  • The Center for Scientific Information and Documentation (CINDOC) of the General Office of Information and Systems National Institute of Health (NIH) trains researchers, librarians and / or health professionals on sources and access to information resources in order that users are autonomous in the location and selection of fonts to use, thereby promoting that professionals know the sources and conduct their investigations. Training takes place in two sessions, and information resources that are available through the Virtual Library of INS is taught, (HINARI, AGORA, OARE, EBSCO, NATURAL STANDARD Dynamed) after training it gives one key access to major bases that the INS subscribe and share only with institutions belonging to the Ministry of Health also incorporated data in the directory in order to perform the selective dissemination of information. It is worth mentioning that the CINDOC been conducting this activity since the beginning of 2005 at the local level, which includes the National Hospital Cayetano Heredia, Maria Auxiliadora Hospital, National Institute of Child etc., and from late 2009 a regional level, in the which Regional Health, Regional hospitals, professional associations, public university that have an agreement with the INS is included. It has also implemented the virtual training through the communication software Blackboard, the INS has been signed for a period of three years and provide training that allows entry form information sources to regional laboratories.
