- Omeka is a software that can be used as an application in running institutional repository systems based on information technology in the library. Omeka provides a variety of features and plugins so that the process of building such systems can be supported optimally. In addition Omeka also provides convenience in terms of customization, data entry processing, search the collection and exchange of data. Based on these facts Omeka be applied to the system of choice for the Faculty of Medicine UPNVJ institutional repository. But there are constraints experienced in Indonesia, namely the lack of publications concerning Omeka and challenges are not tested Omeka for part of the assessment process webometric. Therefore, it could be an interesting discussion for future research Omeka.
