- The RFID technology application in the traditional and conservative fields as a library science has been possibly and it hasn’t been differed from the business sphere establishment. The present report has introduced the New Bulgarian University Library experience in the radio frequency tools usage and the following results: - Library stock safeguarding against thieves; - Library entrance access control and statistical data reports about patrons visits; - Quick and proper identifications for library users and library items; The author has presented the RFID’s structure and ingredients and the software application as well with their models descriptions. It has been written up the technical characteristics and the practical functionality and their benefits for librarians and patrons at the NBU Library activities.
