- Access to administrative files and records is a right enshrined in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for citizens to stay informed promptly by the Public Administration on the status of actions that are interested, existing restrictions on access confidential documents content. In this regard, the proposal of a tool for document file management Public Administration aims to design an instrument to systematize the classification of the archives of public bodies of the State; which they are organized in a hierarchical structure levels, and in turn, each body is identified by a permanent code assigned by the state planning control projects and budgets. It is a descriptive study, with a descriptive cross-transactional or non-experimental design, based on theoretical principles about the archival document management. As a result, the proposed approximate to the reality of the state archives, for consideration and possible implementation in the archives of the Public Administration tool is presented.
