- This study reveals the importance of preserving this heritage as an important receptor of historical memory. This required making a conceptual theoretical analysis to define some important concepts on this topic. A comprehensive model for audio documents preservation is then proposed, as a representative sample of the intangible heritage of the province of Ciego de Ávila and also refers to the need to recognize musical heritage by sociocultural importance as a scientific source for knowledge and not complement the history and culture of peoples.
