- This paper presents a brief look at the evolution of university libraries and a change to a new library model named “Learning and Research Resource Center - CRAI (in Spanish, Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje y la Investigación”). Here, the paper shows the results obtained on a diagnosis conducted in Universidad de la Havana’s library network ( in Spanish, Red de Bibliotecas de la Universidad de La Haba); we propose a series of strategic lines to work and actions to transform this network into a CRAI, and finally, the paper proposes a CRAI model for Universidad de La Habana.
