- "Language subdivisions" is an essential integral part of the "Rubricator of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine" as the VNLU basic information retrieval query language. They are correspond to the modern level of linguistic knowledge and intended to systematize the documents by language, to organize appropriate fragments of a systematic catalogue and provide effective search of linguistic topics literature in electronic and card catalogues. Also, by virtue of presence of the reference and encyclopedic applications "Language subdivisions" is Ukrainian-language linguistic printed and online resource, which provide information about many languages and writing systems of the world.
