- A publishing house which is integrated in the university in organizational respect, in terms of money and legally bound, exists at Graz University of Technology since 1991. The development, starting with the integration into library tasks in 2006 is described. Important milestones, such as the membership in „Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Universitätsverlage“ and the positive consequences as well as the enlargement of ser191 vices and the publisher's list have led to a permanently increasing acceptance among the scientists. This is verified by the yearly growing number of new publications. By the library being involved in the process of scientific publishing the attractiveness of the publishing house and the reputation of the library within the university has achieved sustained success.
