- The Library is playing a crucial role in e-learning thus taking its place as a power in higher education. To answer the requirements of the new learning environment the academic library needs to optimizie its traditional services by re-organization and re-design. The article reviews the reasons leading to different decisions in order to be competible to the new virtual education standards.
