- The work focuses on the determination of the mathematical expressions of a body of forecasting indicators in the field of the Units of Information and Documentation, all of them parts needed to determine the mathematical expression of the indicator of forecast "Time of description of a documentary group". This indicator will allow determining the time necessary to describe a documentary group that either remains static or periodically increases. As a corollary, there has been obtained another indicator of forecast that allows to determine the amount of descriptive work that must be performed in a exercise to describe a documentary group, or a part of it, in a certain time.
