- Among the main proposals in the area of cataloging, FRBR are, that constitute new concepts in cataloging rules. Originated by a study group of the Section on Cataloguing IFLA Classification and Indexing, which presented a report which provides a new perspective of the structure and relationships of bibliographic records. In this context, This article aims to analyze and facilitate the extensibility of the application of FRBR through use of data modeling concepts of the construction process Catalog digital. A logical analysis of the data reflected in bibliographic records generates the description of essential elements based on the Entity-Relationship Model, which defines a based representation of entities, attributes and relationships information. requirements FRBR defines only a proposal for an implementation model of an environment informational, and this study aims to present a process of cataloging model contemplating the concepts of FRBR and Conceptual Data Modeling.
