- We study the unique features of the sound recordings, analyzing the concept of sound recordings, phonograms and ringtones, his register, standardization and diffusion (International Standard Recording Code, statistics). We describe the influence of TICs in the new forms of diffusion of sound recordings. Differences between formats (FLAC, mp3, etc.) and his reproduction. After a review of the cataloguing rules, we make some change proposals for the corresponding bibliographic description areas.
