- In today's scientific communication the promotion plays an increasingly important role, and one of its tools may be also bibliographic database. The aim of the presentation is to draw attention to other than the function of information of database. In this publication were presented examples of elements and functionality of bibliographic databases, which can serve publishers and editors to broaden the audience of scientific journals and authors to popularize their research achievements.
