- Among the many services of the social web available, libraries are starting to venture into using Pinterest, a tool that allows users to organize and share images and videos, due to its rapid growth and the opportunities that provides to give visibility and encourage the participation of users in content creation. This research will focus on the use of this service by libraries in Iberoamerica. It will try to determine to which countries they belong, find out their typology and analyze their activity as to the subject of their boards and the origin of its pins.
